HOW TO USE OUR JUNK RECYCLING SERVICE

When you choose Mr Scrap to recycle your junk, you’re making a great choice for the environment and your wallet. We strive to make every visit as convenient, efficient, and pleasant as possible. If you’ve never been to our facility before, or if it’s been a while since your last visit, keep reading to learn exactly how the process works depending on what you want to do.

When you arrive at Mr Scrap, you will drive onto a metal scale on the left side of the building. This scale will give you a digital readout of the weight of your car and everything in it. The weight will be visible from the driver’s side, so you can see exactly what it is for yourself.

You’ll then step out of the car and walk to the yard, where you can watch your vehicle being offloaded by a magnet. After this, you can unload the scrap metal you want to sell. When you’re finished, drive your car back onto the scale for a final readout before leaving.

We offer a covered drive-through to make this process as convenient as possible. At the end, you’ll receive an itemized ticket with the weight and price per pound paid. Please keep your items separate if you’re bringing in a mixed load. The price per pound may be different for different types of metal, and we use different scales.

We have a wide variety of cars and trucks in our yard that you can take parts from. Mr Scrap is a you-pull-it scrap yard, so be sure to bring your tools!

If you’d like to sell a junk car to us, you don’t have to do anything except give us a call and arrange a time to meet us on your property! A member of the Mr Scrap team will meet you on your property, give you cash on the spot for your vehicle, and haul it to our location for you.
